Regions Financial Corporation functions in ten states across the south, Midwest and Texas. It has assets of $122 billion, and is, according to its web site, “one of the nation’s largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, mortgage and insurance products and services.

Regions offers a complex array of services at varied prices with different requirements to minimize of avoid monthly service fees. One plan – LifeGreen Business Checking – Another, the Simple Checking option, is intended to be used by “small, start-up businesses with limited transaction needs”. The Advantage program is for entities with “moderate to high transaction volume”.

The company also offers a banking program for nonprofits, an Advantage version for entities with “moderate to high transaction, have Treasury Management needs and [who] value flat pricing for services”. Additionally, there’s a Business Analyzed Checking service.

Minimum deposits for accounts is $100. The varying fees are competitive with other banks serving small businesses.

Regions offers mobile deposit, text banking and other on-the-go options.

A program called Check 21 is said to offer “improved access to online to check images and imaged statements.

Another program offers Visa cards for small business clients.
