Who is Less Accounting designed for?

We designed the accounting app to meet our needs as small business owners. We tried to develop it flexible enough for personal use, but if you are a big business Less Accounting probably isn't for you.

Is my data secure?

Yes, Less Accounting runs on redundant hard drives. Data backups are made nightly and stored in a different location. SSL (https) encryption is standard with all accounts. The safety of your data is our #1 concern.

How does your refund policy work?

Less Accounting is a month-to-month pay-as-you-go service. If you want to stop using the service, you can either move back to the free version or delete your account.

Does Less Accounting support other languages besides English?

You can send invoices and proposals in Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese or any other language.

Are there other fees?

NO! No signup fees, no month maintenance feeds, no termination feeds...no fees, ever.

Do I have to prepay?

No, you can buy one month at a time. Your price is locked in for however long you prepaid.

Is there a site manual or instructions?

We strive to be less, less hassle, less time to waste and hopefully less confusion. If you cannot utilize this site by just looking around we haven't accomplished our goal. If you are confused, email us, we want to hear your feedback. If you want to "learn" another software program we suggest quickbooks, that should keep you busy for a while.

Do you provide technical support?

Yes, Less Accounting provides english speaking email support for paying customers only. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. All tech support is handled in house by the people that developed the product.

Can I install Less Accounting on my own server?

Sorry, no. We plan remaining web based accounting software for the foreseen future.
